This compact Entry Level collection of the 3 most important knives in any kitchen is Stamp Forged from a 3 layer of Stainless Steel. A hard High Carbon AUS 8 core is clad with soft SUS 405 to achieve a high level of edge endurance whilst being consummately easy to resharpen.
The Pakkawood handle and distinctive Mosaic pin adds a touch of luxury and individuality normally reserved for knives of much higher price making these ‘bolster less’ knives of exceptional value.
This is the classic Japanese chef’s knife. It is flat from the handle end for about ½ way to the tip and then gently curves to a point. It is ideal for straight vertical chopping, horizontal slicing and roll cutting.
Function – Multi-purpose chef knife. For Slicing, Dicing and Mincing of vegetables, meat and fish.
Normal length – 165mm to 180mm (smaller 140mm are available in a few collections)
