Fujita Metal MFG Co., Ltd, a small-town factory in Osaka, and TENT, a small design office in Tokyo, have repeated trial and error, and finally came up with this masterpiece cookware.

That’s “JIU”
The most distinctive feature of Frying Pan “JIU” is its shape.
It is formed with a wide rim in the outer periphery. The attractiveness of the iron material is highlighted by eliminating decorations. Even so, the wide rim in the outer periphery helps “JIU” to look like a plate, it can be served as it is, and it naturally sit on the dining tables.
Although it does look like a plate, it is one of the highest quality iron frying pans.
The Iron frying pan made by 1.6mm thick mill scale steel brings juicy texture of the meat, crunchy texture of the vegetables, and the bread can be crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
Four different types of “JIU” are available to suit your needs.
The S size is ideal for one portion, M for two or a plate lunch, L for family meals, and And M size POD, which is great for soup, curry and simmered food.
Not to worry, the wood handle is compatible for all 4 types of “JIU
The proprietary developed sliding handle, which is capable of being easily attached and detached just by one hand.
They have developed a handle that attaches and detaches easily with a thumb slide. Made from solid natural wood from Tendo City, Yamagata, it offers a smooth and pleasant user experience.
