This simple, elegant, and practical knife series is perfect for chefs of all skill levels and provides an easy to use, yet effortlessly sharp blade. The core of the blade is crafted with V-gold No. 10 steel which is incredibly sharp and rust resistant. It is also used for its durability and ease of sharpening. The outer layers of the knife are constructed with both high and low carbon steel forged with a multi-layer structure akin to how Japanese swords are constructed. These 37 Damascus layers create elegant ripples along the surface of the blade. The handle of the knife is exceedingly resistant due to the laminated reinforced materials that are used to craft it. This makes it difficult for the handle to shrink due to aging. It can maintain the look and feel of a brand-new handle for many years. The three-tack structure creates a handle that can withstand cracking and distortion.
Please Note: The handle colour varies from light to quite deep ochre. Not dishwasher safe.
Maintenance:
- Avoid chopping hard ingredients such as bones, frozen food, or any rock-solid items.
- These knives are quite easy to sharpen on an M150 Water Wheel, fine diamond steel, and up to 4000 or below grit
