The world’s heaviest tree “Lignum Vita”. The heavy wood named “Tree of Life” in Latin, with an air-dried specific gravity of 1.20 – 1.35, sinks into the water. These classy chopsticks are inlaid with 18 gold symbolizing the scorpion. They are basically shaped octagonal, but have been made lighter by flattening the handle.
The world’s heaviest tree, in Latin “Lignum vitae” which means tree of life, has a very high density of around 1.20 to 1.35. As a result, this wood does not float and is completely submerged in water. An 18-carat gold inlay inspired by a scorpion creates a luxurious atmosphere. These eight-sided chopsticks have their upper parts cut in a slightly flattened shape to reduce their weight and maintain perfect balance.
