SLD is a ‘state-of-the-art’ High Carbon Stainless Super Steel. With over 1.5% Carbon and less than 13% Chromium, when expertly heat-treated, can hold a surgically sharp enduring edge. When sandwiched with soft steel, it is also consummately easy to resharpen. The diamond-patterned hammer finish reduces the adhesion of fatty, oily, and starchy foods.
