Care and Use:
To ensure the longevity of your Kyocera pan:
- Wash in warm water before first use and towel dry. Lightly rub the surface with a small amount of cooking oil and wipe away excess.
- Use wood, silicone, or nylon utensils — avoid metal tools that may damage the ceramic surface.
- Cook on low to medium heat only; high heat may cause discolouration or sticking.
- Lightly oil the surface before cooking, unless using high-fat foods.
- Do not overheat an empty pan or leave it on a hot burner without food.
- Clean using warm water and a soft sponge. For stuck-on food, soak the pan for 30 minutes before washing.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, chlorine bleach, or scouring pads. Use oxygen-based (non-chlorine) bleach if needed.
- If the non-stick performance declines, it may be due to a carbonized oil layer. Gently clean with a melamine sponge to restore performance.
