The new Japanese knife “Sekisou” embodies the perfect harmony between traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation. Expertly forged by master blacksmith Minoru Tanabe, it is crafted from Damascus stainless steel with a Yasuki White Paper Steel No.2 core, renowned for its exceptional sharpness and edge retention. Thanks to our advanced processing technology, the Sekisou delivers an enduringly sharp edge that remains precise even with prolonged use.
The blade’s elegant black oxide finish enhances its refined appearance, while the octagonal cherry wood handle provides a naturally comfortable and secure grip, ensuring superb balance and control. Finished with a laminated wooden katsura and a hardness of HRC 60–61, this double-edged knife exemplifies Japanese precision, durability, and timeless elegance. The “Chozaburo” Sekisou Shiro is not merely a knife, but a true expression of artistry and performance—crafted to inspire confidence in every cut.
