A pair of scissors designed for the traditional Japanese flower arrangement, also known as ikebana.
The tradition dates back to 7th century Japan. It started only as flowers offered at altars. Later on, Japanese tea masters developed it into an interior design element.
The scissor blades are set at a small angle in order to cut the flowers without crushing the plant fibers, allowing the flowers to live longer.
Made to last long, using rustproof Japanese high carbon stainless steel.
