In 1956, Tajima Glass was established as a producer of glass tableware. Glass goods have been created by hand at the current factory since it opened its doors in 1962 and has been for more than 50 years. The largest mountain in Japan, Mount Fuji, is celebrated with this classic set of Sake glasses, which is considered fortunate. Hand-cut Edo Glass represents the summit of the mountain. The hot workshop of Tajima Glass, which is renowned for producing Edo Glass, is situated in Edogawa Ward. Edo cut glass is created by cutting coloured glass into elaborate designs and sealing it onto base glass. Each item in this product is handmade by skilled nurses for the vessel-blown population. There are variations in terms of colour, design, and size.
