Yes, we are true fans of Blockwerk. With the 8-er knife block, Blockwerk has once again shown why. The massive body made of polished oak wood with dimensions of 20.5 x 6 x 26 cm (W/D/H) can hold 4 knives on each side, for a total of 8 knives with a maximum blade length of 26 cm, depending on the knife’s design. To be absolutely sure, you should measure the length from the tip of the blade to the bolster (the transition from the blade to the handle). Internal magnets provide an invisible but firm hold. The magnets are not continuous, but arranged individually, providing a safety distance between the knives. This prevents the knives from damaging each other.
The 26 x 12 x 1.5 cm satin-finished steel base ensures a stable stand. Due to the high weight of the block of about 6 kg, the knives can be removed with one hand without the knife block wobbling or even falling over. Rubber feet under the base ensure slip resistance.
