In this hands on session, you’ll learn the four fundamental knife techniques; slicing, dicing, mincing, and chopping all essential for safe, efficient, and precise blade work.

This class goes beyond cutting skills, offering a comprehensive understanding of knife handling, including proper grip, body positioning, and control to enhance both safety and precision.

What to Expect

Skill Development – Begin with guided instruction on mastering key techniques for cutting fish, or chicken, and vegetables.

Follow-Up Review – After three months of practice, join an optional 15-20 minute progress session to refine your technique and reinforce muscle memory.

Your session will be led by José, a professional chef with experience in fine dining kitchens, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Having worked in demanding culinary environments where precision and consistency are essential, he shares practical knife techniques used by professional chefs to work efficiently, safely, and with greater confidence in the kitchen.
