This two-layered blade showcases a single bevel edge, exemplifying the art of traditional Japanese knife-making. With a hardness rating of HRC 59+/- 1, it offers durability while retaining sharpness. The handle, designed to be water-resistant and delicately crafted from wood, provides a traditional yet ergonomic touch.
Please Note:
The handle colour varies from light to quite deep ochre. Not dishwasher safe.
Maintenance:
These are very high-carbon knives with an edge that will oxidize which can be reduced and removed with the use of rust-removing cream and Camelia oil which are available in our maintenance section.
