Miyazaki Industries, a leading Japanese manufacturer of the finest kitchenware for over 60 years, commissioned Dr. Yukio Hattori—a renowned designer of ultra-functional food preparation products—to design a compact range of cookware that met the needs of the most demanding modern kitchen.
The result of this collaboration is the Hattori Geo Collection. Essential cookware that extracts the maximum potential from the advantages of ‘state of the art’ technologies like induction hobs, advanced robotic manufacturing, and modern alloys that are designed for easy maintenance and durability.
Whilst the paramount aim was to satisfy the expectations of the most uncompromising user such as – “I want to feed delicious food to my loved ones.” “I want to bring out the original taste of the ingredients.” “I want to make meals that are healthy and safe.” “I want cooking to be easy, simple, and enjoyable.” – with uber functionality, Dr Hattori’s design has given equal importance to the current aesthetic values of clean, simple, and minimalist design.
The main body of the Geo Hattori Collection is made of 7-layer steel with an aluminum core sandwiched between layers of stainless steel and aluminum alloy, so it has very high thermal efficiency. It can be used not only on gas/electric hobs but also on 200V electromagnetic hobs (IH) as well as in the oven. The simple design has no unnecessary flanges or edges on the bottom, making it easy to clean.
The handles and knobs are made of durable stainless steel so they won’t burn or crack and since they are directly attached, there is no need to worry about them coming off. The reduced contact area with the main body results in ‘cool handles ‘ that only get too hot to grip when the firepower used is unnecessarily strong.
Skilled craftsmen make every part with manufacturing and processing methods to allow continuous use over many years. The selected materials will stand up to extensive use over a long period of time. This extends from the clearly visible to those tiny components that are hidden from view, like the tiny screws of the pot that resist corrosion. The bottoms of all the pots are processed to prevent deformation. The surfaces are beautifully polished so that they do not dirt easily, and if they do, the dirt is easy to remove, thus facilitating a clean cooking and dining environment.
From planning to mold-making, pressing, polishing, packaging, and shipping, Miyazaki carries out production in a vertically integrated fashion, all in-house, to ensure that the quality is controlled and maintained to a strict standard.
Once introduced, Miyazaki strives to continue production of the same designs over a long period of time, saving the occasional small improvement, and allowing you to add new models to your collection over several years.
We are 100% confident that these pots and pans will not disappoint even the most discerning cook.
It is convenient for simmering fish as it is, oden and sukiyaki. I play an active part without choosing the genre.
Anhydrous cooking is possible by cooking with a small amount of water. You can enjoy the nutritious and deliciousness of the ingredients as they are.
Boil a whole fish, hot pot, and oden.
