Kiya – a name synonymous with the highest quality of kitchen knives – was established in 1792. Over almost 230 years since their humble beginning, Kiya has built a reputation as the premier retailer of kitchen knives in Japan. With 6 retail stores in Tokyo and a very select number of ‘official distributors around the world, Kiya products are now available to the most discerning chefs and home cooks in Europe. Japanese Knife Company is proud to be one such retailer.
The 33 Layer Series is a collection of knives that are custom forged from a High Carbon ‘Damascus’ Stainless Super Steel – a thin layer of VG10 steel is sandwiched between 32 layers of soft stainless steel resulting in a knife with an enduring surgical edge that is easy to maintain.
Perfect balance and grip for comfortable prolonged use facilitated by the brown Pakkawood handle triple-riveted to a full tang, these knives are sure not to disappoint.
